Short Little Post: Total Disconnect.

Let's talk about total disconnect.

Compare this and this.

I really hope that the frum ladies hosting these orgies are being careful to cover their hair with a sheitel and not, G-d Forbid, a snood or a hat.

Ingenious way to catch straying husbands. All you have to do is set a day and time and see if DH tried to sneak out of the house at the appointed hour.

Right, maybe they are not frum ladies at all but rather very clever tznius police. Heh-heh-heh.

I would be much more likely to believe that this post is for real if it involved a homosexual orgy. But if a man isn't turned on by his frum wife, why would he be turned on by someone else's frum wife?

"There is absolutely no Heter... to go out wearing a hat or snood."

That's just bizarre. Not "our Rebbe greatly preferred this method," but "no basis to permit." Oy!

Any alleged heter that contradicts the preferences of (the folks who claim to speak for) the Rebbe is no heter at all.

Goodness! What's wrong with a hat?? Sefardim, davka, are very anti-sheitl, they claim that a woman who, God forbid, wears it, goes straight to Hell.

It does look suspicious. Real "frum married women" would be too scared to be caught by Tznius Patrol, or whatever it's called.

And just too good to be true! :))

I'm guessing, by the sheer number of those types of ads, that the tznius patrols haven't caught on to the existence of craigslist just yet.

Particularly - what's the point of looking for frum married men?? Do they expect anything special from them? Besides - if we're already talking about the halochoh - for a married jewish woman, having a connection with a goy is much less of a sin than that with a married man - not to mention the sin she is dragging him in...

No, it's very shifty.

How about that one? Ha-ha-ha.

No, seriously, I was reading this moronic thread and decided to stick in my two cents at the end (MCP) which no one of course believed, so I just went to double check and looky-loo :)

There is nothing new under the sun.

- Rebbe, can I dance with my wife ?
- No, it is forbidden !
- Rebbe, but can I have sex with her in our bed ?
- Yes.
- And what about doing it while sitting ?
- Permitted.
- And what about doing it while standing ?
- It is ok, but you must be careful, it shoudln't become dancing.

Ahavat Yisrael

I was at a Jewish women's "unity" program last night - it was organized by women's groups from our local Chabad, Aish, MO, and breakaway Aish/now independent shul. The basic theme was that senseless hatred between Jews is a tragedy that literally tears us apart, while ahavat yisrael (loving each other) is exactly what we need.

One speaker defined this sort of ahavat yisrael as not requiring us to always think, "I'm right, you're right", but to be able to say, "I think I'm right, I'm not going to worry about judging you because that's up to Hashem, and right or wrong, it doesn't change for a moment the fact that I love you".

There were specific references, from 2 sheitel-wearing speakers (one of them was Chana Weisberg, who does the Chabad Women's website), about the need for us NOT to judge each other by externals - and they specifically said "by what they wear - or don't wear - on their hair".

That's impressive coming from chabad. But also unrealistic. If you hate covering your hair, but do it anyway for whatever reason, chances are that you will look down on those who don't, just to make yourself feel better about your difficult decision. Because if they are just as good as you, why bother covering your hair in the first place?

eh, go to Craigslist for New York and type the word "frum" in the personals section.

This particular one was for four 'frum" ladies who invite everyone to an orgy.

i love the missed connections...we eyed each other shabbos day. ha ha ha.
It's like the ads they have in local news papers.
"girl with brown hair on train and wearing a hat, i saw you, but you didn't see me as it was rush hour and we were packed like sardines."
